Benefits
This position focuses on keeping a portfolio of serviced apartments running smoothly every single day, balancing operational logistics with the human touch that makes guests feel at home. As the person responsible for the entire guest journey, you will coordinate everything from frontline service to behind-the-scenes maintenance and revenue management, making sure each property remains a preferred choice on major travel platforms. Your work directly supports the business’s reputation and profitability, because a well-operated stay not only generates repeat bookings but also strengthens the brand’s standing in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of daily property activities, ensuring guests receive a seamless experience from the moment they arrive until the moment they check out.
- Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping and caretaker teams, establishing clear cleaning schedules, maintenance routines, and quality checklists to keep apartments spotless and fully functional.
- Act as the primary contact for guest matters, responding to requests and complaints with a calm, positive attitude and resolving issues before they escalate.
- Monitor and adjust apartment availability and nightly rates across online travel agencies and direct booking channels, using demand forecasts to maximise occupancy and yield.
- Track competitor rates, local events, and seasonal trends to make informed pricing decisions that keep the portfolio competitive without sacrificing profitability.
- Maintain an active and attractive digital presence by updating listings, responding promptly to reviews, and planning social media content that showcases the apartments.
- Record reservations, generate operational reports, and perform financial reconciliations through the Property Management System, sharing insights with senior management for strategic planning.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Property Management, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- At least three years of practical experience in serviced apartment operations, hotel front office, or a comparable supervisory role within the hospitality sector.
- Hands-on familiarity with Property Management Systems for booking management, guest profiling, and daily reporting; exposure to more than one PMS platform is an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks clearly, and maintain consistent service standards across multiple properties.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a guest-first mindset, capable of handling difficult situations tactfully and turning negative feedback into positive outcomes.
- Solid numerical and analytical skills to interpret occupancy data and market information, translating them into practical pricing and marketing actions.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, plus confidence working with social media and online booking interfaces.
Applications will be accepted until 2 October 2026. Early submission is encouraged because the review process begins after the closing date.
