Garissa University is offering a fully funded scholarship to a young Kenyan citizen who will pursue a technical qualification in leather technology at an accredited TVET institution while simultaneously serving as a Tutorial Fellow at the university. The fellow will split their time between formal study and supporting the university's teaching activities, gaining hands-on academic experience alongside their technical training. Upon successful completion of the programme, the recipient enters a bonding arrangement under the university's terms and conditions.
The scholarship package covers full tuition fees and research costs for the entire duration of the programme. Recipients gain the unique opportunity to study at a Kenyan TVET institution while building teaching experience as a Tutorial Fellow at Garissa University, positioning themselves for a professional career in leather technology education and practice.
