Instructional Mission

Our client is looking for dedicated and linguistically proficient German Teachers to facilitate high-impact, in-person language training for adult learners. This role is pivotal in bridging the communication gap for students aiming for professional or academic integration in German-speaking regions. You will be responsible for taking learners from foundational A1 levels through to intermediate B2 proficiency, ensuring each student masters not just the grammar, but the cultural nuances of the language. We welcome seasoned educators as well as fluent speakers with a passion for knowledge transfer who are ready to undergo professional pedagogical training.

Scope of Work

Pedagogical Delivery & Curriculum Alignment

  • Conduct immersive German language sessions tailored specifically for adult learners in a classroom setting.

  • Design and implement lesson plans that cover reading, writing, listening, and speaking modules across the A1 to B2 spectrum.

  • Utilize varied teaching methodologies to cater to different learning speeds and cognitive styles.

  • Simplify complex linguistic concepts and German syntax to ensure high retention and student confidence.

Evaluation & Academic Tracking

  • Administer continuous assessments to gauge learner progress and readiness for proficiency exams.

  • Maintain meticulous records of student attendance, performance metrics, and individual growth milestones.

  • Provide constructive, one-on-one feedback to assist students in overcoming specific linguistic hurdles.

  • Ensure all learners hit their proficiency targets within the allocated course timelines.

Classroom Governance & Engagement

  • Foster a vibrant, interactive, and culturally aware learning atmosphere.

  • Uphold classroom discipline while maintaining a supportive environment that encourages verbal participation.

  • Coordinate with the academic department to ensure curriculum consistency and instructional quality across all centers.

Profile & Expertise

Educational & Linguistic Standards

  • Certification: Minimum B2 Level certification in German; C1 or C2 proficiency is highly preferred.

  • Experience: Background in language instruction or general teaching is desirable, though fluent speakers willing to be trained are encouraged.

  • Exposure: Prior experience teaching adults or time spent in a German-speaking country is a significant advantage.

Key Competencies

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written command of both German and English.

  • Organization: Strong planning skills to manage curriculum pacing and student assessments.

  • Soft Skills: High levels of patience, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.

  • Digital Literacy: Proficiency in using modern educational tools and MS Office.

Tiered Salary & Benefits

  • B2 Level Proficiency: Kshs. 80,000 per month.

  • C1 Level Proficiency: Kshs. 100,000 per month.

  • C2 Level Proficiency: Kshs. 180,000 per month.

  • Flexible Engagement: Options for both full-time and part-time schedules.

  • Professional Development: Comprehensive training for fluent speakers transitioning into education.

Qualified candidates should submit their updated CV through the Career Page before the deadline of 23rd April 2026. Please specify your current German proficiency level (B2, C1, or C2) in your application.
