Generative AI Engineer

Role Overview

You will be responsible for creating and launching intelligent software that uses generative models to solve real business problems. Day to day, you will write production code that connects large language models to internal data sources, builds reliable APIs, and automates complex tasks—turning raw AI capabilities into tools that teams actually use. Your work will directly influence how quickly the company can adopt AI for innovation and everyday efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and ship AI-powered applications, from initial prototype to production deployment.
• Integrate multiple generative AI providers, including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini, into unified services.
• Develop robust backend APIs and automation workflows that support intelligent features.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, prompt engineering, and vector search to improve answer quality and context awareness.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and turn them into technical requirements.
• Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and security of deployed AI systems.
• Troubleshoot issues across the full stack, from model output quality to infrastructure bottlenecks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience building AI or generative AI applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and AI orchestration.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL for frontend integration and data handling.
• Practical experience with API design, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and modern application architecture.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or LlamaIndex.
• Solid understanding of generative AI concepts, LLM behavior, prompt engineering, AI agents, and RAG.
• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker in a collaborative development environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with advanced English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent).
