Al Rasef is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee and strengthen the organization’s financial operations. This role is crucial for ensuring strong financial governance across multiple construction projects while maintaining compliance with UAE financial regulations and international accounting standards.

The Finance Manager will play a leadership role in managing the company’s financial planning, cost control processes, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience from the UAE construction industry, with the ability to monitor project performance, control project costs, and support business decision-making through accurate financial analysis.

In this role, the selected professional will oversee financial reporting activities, supervise project accounting, and manage cash flow operations to ensure the company maintains strong financial stability. The role also requires coordination with banking partners, auditors, and regulatory authorities to maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the UAE.

A key part of the role will involve working closely with project teams to track budgets, monitor cost variations, and ensure accurate work-in-progress (WIP) reporting across construction projects. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for managing billing cycles, tracking client collections, and monitoring retention balances to maintain healthy cash flow.

The organization is looking for a highly analytical professional who can strengthen financial processes, improve internal controls, and contribute to strategic planning initiatives that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards
  • Oversee project accounting activities, including budgeting, cost monitoring, WIP reporting, and variance analysis
  • Manage company cash flow, including progress billing, collections, and retention tracking
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations while coordinating with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
  • Maintain and manage banking relationships, including credit facilities, bank guarantees, and performance bonds
  • Strengthen and monitor internal financial controls across the organization
  • Support and coordinate external audit processes and ensure accurate financial documentation
  • Provide financial insights and reports to support management decision-making and project performance monitoring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognized institution
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are highly preferred
  • 10–15 years of finance experience within the UAE construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial management tools
  • Solid understanding of UAE financial regulations, VAT, and corporate tax requirements
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and financial planning skills

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to play a strategic leadership role while overseeing financial operations across major construction projects.
