Finance and Accounting Manager

Role Overview

As Finance and Accounting Manager, you will guide day-to-day financial operations for a Dubai business working across interior fit-out, exhibitions and construction. You will give leaders a clear view of project costs, cash requirements and financial results, while helping the company maintain reliable records and meet UAE compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct accounting operations, oversee financial reporting and coordinate the month-end close.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and cash-flow plans to support operational decisions.
• Track costs and financial performance by project, identifying profitability trends and areas requiring attention.
• Prepare financial analysis that helps management assess results and plan resources.
• Oversee compliance with UAE VAT rules and corporate tax requirements.
• Strengthen accounting controls, reporting processes and other finance procedures.
• Lead and support the finance and accounting team, setting priorities and developing staff capability.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Experience in exhibitions, interior fit-out, construction or another project-led business is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Practical expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and project costing.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance, along with internal financial controls.
• Leadership and team-management capability.
• A CMA qualification is highly preferred.
