Role Overview
As a Guest Event Expert, you help deliver events that feel polished and welcoming, supporting the guest experience from room preparation through the final breakdown. The role combines practical setup and service work with direct guest interaction, helping events run smoothly while maintaining the employer’s standards for safety, quality, and professional conduct.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare event spaces by arranging equipment, supplies, and materials according to event needs.
- Move supplies and equipment to and from event areas, and assist with setup and breakdown.
- Support food and beverage service, including taking guest orders as required.
- Interact with guests in a courteous, professional manner and help address their event needs.
- Carry out varied event duties as situations require to keep service and operations on track.
- Follow workplace safety procedures, company policies, and established quality standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance, uniform, and style of communication.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least one year of related work experience; hotel or luxury-service experience is preferred.
- Experience in a five-star hotel is highly desirable.
- A certificate or diploma in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or a related professional field is preferred.
- Ability to remain on your feet and move around for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Willingness to perform other reasonable duties related to the role.
