Role Overview
Build and enhance Dynamics 365 Commerce and Store Commerce solutions for retail and food-and-beverage businesses, from the in-store checkout experience through to financial posting. Your work will help keep sales, payments and inventory aligned, including when a store temporarily loses connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Commerce and Store Commerce extensions using TypeScript and C#.
- Adapt Commerce Runtime services, channel database functionality and point-of-sale screens to client needs.
- Connect POS systems with handheld devices, payment terminals and e-commerce channels, ensuring transactions can be reconciled.
- Design for reliable offline trading and accurate end-of-day transaction posting.
- Work with Finance and Supply Chain teams to keep tender configuration, sales accounting and stock movements consistent.
- Investigate and resolve issues that affect checkout, payment processing or store operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience delivering solutions with Dynamics 365 Commerce, Store Commerce, CPOS or a comparable POS platform.
- Strong practical skills in TypeScript and C#.
- Understanding of how POS tenders and sales transactions flow into general-ledger entries.
- Experience working on retail or food-and-beverage implementations.
- Experience with Commerce SDK or Commerce Runtime extensions, payment gateway integrations, or POS hardware and peripherals is an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel to Europe is an added advantage.
