Primary Mandate

We are seeking a highly responsible and dual-licensed Driver / Rider to anchor our daily corporate logistics and field errands. Your core objective is to facilitate the safe, secure, and highly efficient transit of personnel, sensitive documentation, and cargo across Nairobi. Operating out of Upper Hill, you will combine defensive driving skills with intelligent route planning to ensure zero delivery delays. This position demands a self-disciplined professional who takes pride in asset maintenance, respects traffic regulations, and upholds corporate professionalism during every interaction.

Core Workstreams

Logistics Execution & Route Management

• Transport corporate personnel, official documentation, and inventory safely to specified destinations.

• Coordinate day-to-day collections, parcel deliveries, and administrative errands within strict timelines.

• Map out optimal navigation paths across the city to bypass traffic bottlenecks and maximize fuel efficiency.

• Oversee the safe loading, securing, and manual offloading of company goods during transit.

Asset Care & Fleet Compliance

• Maintain the assigned vehicle and motorcycle in pristine cleanliness and top mechanical condition.

• Conduct mandatory pre-trip routine checks (fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes) and log data accurately.

• Flag mechanical faults, unusual wear, or service requirements to management immediately.

• Monitor vehicle documentation, ensuring speed governor certifications, insurance, and licenses are valid.

• Track and compile meticulous records of mileage, trip logs, delivery confirmations, and fuel consumption.

Road Safety & Professional Representation

• Operate machinery in strict compliance with the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) regulations.

• Serve as an ambassador for the company by maintaining a courteous, well-presented, and professional demeanor.

• Mitigate transport risks by adhering to defensive driving standards under varying weather and road conditions.

Expertise Profile

The Essentials

• Education: Minimum of a KCSE Certificate.

• Licensure: Must hold a valid, clean Driving License (Class B/C/E) AND a Motorcycle Riding License (Class A).

• Experience: At least 2 years of active experience in corporate driving, rider deliveries, or professional courier roles.

• Geographical Knowledge: Exceptional familiarity with Nairobi streets, backroutes, and typical traffic flows.

Required Competencies

• Time Management: A proven track record of punctual delivery execution and task prioritization.

• Trustworthiness: Highly reliable when handling confidential documents or high-value items with minimal supervision.

• Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written abilities for reporting operational updates and interacting with clients.

• Physical Fitness: Capable of handling active courier runs and light loading/offloading tasks daily.
