Job Title: Delivery and Distribution Associate
Your Mission
In this role, you ensure the company’s growth in terms of sales by:
- Delivering products to customers in Kenya in line with the company strategy and sales plan, and with the Kenya and Group guidelines.
- Ensuring goods are in good state as they are delivered and that the correct amount is given to the correct customer.
- Creating a strong long‑term partnership with assigned customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer orders in line with the assigned route.
- Interact with clients professionally at all times.
- Coordinate regular cleaning for the vehicle to ensure hygienic transportation conditions for goods.
- Coordinate renewal of all legal documents for the assigned vehicle to ensure compliance with all relevant laws.
- Coordinate maintenance of the assigned vehicle to align with legal safety requirements and adhere to Puratos group safety policy.
What We Expect From You
- Must possess a valid and clean driving license.
- Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience in commercial operations.
- At least 2 years’ experience in FMCG distribution within Nairobi County.
- Good knowledge of Nairobi County routes, road networks, and distribution channels.
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety, traffic regulations, and delivery procedures.
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy, demonstrating high levels of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Customer-focused with good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet delivery schedules and operational targets.
