AUM Real Estate Development is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join its Dubai-based team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building construction or contracting projects and the ability to manage technical documentation, project records, and coordination activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate project documents, managing drawings and submissions, tracking project correspondence, and ensuring timely document control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, organize, and maintain technical documents, project records, and progress reports.
• Manage shop drawings, RCPs, sectional drawings, and other site-related documentation.
• Prepare and submit material submittals and pre-qualification documents.
• Handle SORs, NCRs, transmittals, and official project correspondence.
• Maintain document logs, drawing registers, material tracking records, and project databases.
• Ensure proper filing, tracking, and timely submission of all project documents.
• Prepare Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), monitor supplier deliveries, and process Material Receipt Notes (MRNs).
• Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth document flow.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Document Controller within the construction or contracting industry.
• Preferred experience in building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of technical documentation and project document management.
• Ability to manage multiple documents, submissions, and deadlines efficiently.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Construction drawings, shop drawings, RCPs, and technical submissions.
• Document control systems, filing procedures, and project tracking.
• LPOs, supplier coordination, material tracking, and project correspondence
