Role Overview
This field-based role puts you on the front line of subscriber growth, where you will prospect, sign up, and support customers across your assigned territory. Day to day, you will run activations, guide new subscribers through compliance steps, and keep existing accounts healthy by solving problems before they escalate. Your work directly determines whether the company meets its revenue and retention goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Win new subscribers through face-to-face selling, roadshows, estate activations, and mall campaigns.
- Guide every new customer through KYC, contract terms, and device education so onboarding is fully compliant.
- Partner with your supervisor to shape, roll out, and measure local sales campaigns, monitoring SLAs throughout sign-up and activation.
- Reclaim handsets or equipment from customers who breach contract terms or fall behind on compliance requirements.
- Diagnose and fix routine service, billing, or device problems on the spot, and route unresolved network issues to the right support team with clear notes.
- Compile daily sales figures and monthly market trend analysis; build weekly dashboards and ad-hoc reports for leadership.
- Track competitor promotions, pricing, and product launches, then share customer insights and recommend products or packages that match demand.
- Plan and execute field marketing events such as roadshows, estate activations, and mall campaigns to generate leads and build brand visibility.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in business administration or a related discipline.
- At least one year of outdoor or field sales experience, preferably in telecom or fixed wireless.
- Working knowledge of 5G and fixed wireless services, with the ability to explain devices and packages to non-technical customers.
- Commercial awareness of competitor offers, device ranges, service packages, and commission structures.
- Proven resilience and a track record of hitting stretch targets.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you spot opportunities and act on them without waiting for instructions.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with a performance-driven approach to your territory.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic, with the drive to work independently in the field.
