Role Overview
This role sits at the centre of a brand's day-to-day online voice, turning strategy into published content, live campaigns, and measurable audience growth. Working across a full spread of social channels and the company website, the Digital Marketing Officer keeps the content pipeline moving while watching the numbers closely enough to know what to double down on. The position matters because it directly connects creative output to commercial outcomes — awareness, engagement, leads, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a rolling content calendar that keeps every channel supplied with timely, on-brand posts and publications.
- Write, produce, and publish marketing copy across formats, including website pages, blog articles, product datasheets, press releases, video scripts, customer case studies, and promotional collateral.
- Plan and run digital campaigns tied to sales and promotional goals, coordinating messaging from concept through to post-campaign review.
- Own the day-to-day management of the company's profiles on Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and the corporate website, keeping each one active, current, and consistent with brand standards.
- Design digital advertisements, graphics, and other visual assets tailored to the format and audience of each platform.
- Track and analyse performance data across campaigns and channels, then translate findings into concrete adjustments to targeting, content, or spend.
- Watch competitor activity, platform shifts, and audience behaviour to keep the marketing approach current and relevant.
- Partner with colleagues across departments and with external stakeholders to align campaign messaging and communication materials.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Fine Arts, IT, Graphic Design, or a comparable field.
- Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a closely related role.
- Demonstrated track record in both sales and marketing work, with results to show for it.
- Working knowledge of major digital marketing and social platforms, current social trends, and the mechanics of online audience engagement and lead generation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt tone and style across channels and formats.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines without dropping quality or detail.
- Commercial awareness paired with a genuinely creative instinct, and a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable operating independently while contributing constructively within a team.
- Familiarity with graphic design and digital content creation tools is a plus.
