Role Overview
This role is the digital engine behind the hotel’s online presence and direct booking performance. You will spend your days creating and publishing social content, keeping the website and booking platforms accurate and optimised, running paid campaigns, managing guest-facing email and review activity, and turning performance data into practical next steps. The position matters because it connects marketing activity directly to room bookings, brand reputation, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, produce, schedule, and publish social media campaigns and always-on content, including posters, graphics, reels, and short promotional videos.
- Update and maintain website content, carry out on-page SEO improvements, and manage paid advertising across search and social channels.
- Keep hotel booking platforms accurate and commercially effective, ensuring room details, visuals, offers, and availability information are current and aligned with campaigns.
- Monitor online reviews and guest feedback, respond appropriately, and help protect and strengthen the hotel’s online reputation.
- Create and send email marketing campaigns, including offers, newsletters, and targeted guest communications.
- Track campaign, website, booking, and revenue performance; prepare regular reports and recommend improvements based on the data.
- Coordinate with reservations, operations, and other internal teams to source content, align promotions, and ensure marketing messages match the guest experience.
- Support revenue growth by identifying opportunities to increase direct bookings, improve conversion, and reduce reliance on third-party channels.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business IT, or a closely related field.
- At least two years of relevant experience in digital marketing, content creation, or a similar role.
- Practical skills in WordPress, SEO, Google Ads, and Meta advertising.
- Demonstrated graphic design and video-editing ability, with the capacity to produce social-first visuals and short-form video content.
- Comfortable using analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign performance and booking trends.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, platforms, and deadlines at once.
- Previous experience in hospitality would be beneficial.
