Job Description

Role Overview

This role takes ownership of the digital marketing mix for an established commercial services and digital communications organisation in Nairobi. Day to day, you will turn business priorities into social content, paid campaigns, search visibility improvements, and clear performance reports, working under the Commercial Lead. Your work directly shapes how many prospective customers discover the brand, how engaged existing audiences remain, and how efficiently advertising budgets generate enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Editorial planning and publishing: Build monthly content calendars, write both short social captions and longer blog or newsletter pieces, and schedule posts across the brand’s active channels.
  • Community management: Monitor comments, direct messages, and public mentions, replying promptly and escalating sensitive queries to the right internal contact.
  • Paid media execution: Set up, run, and refine campaigns on Meta platforms, Google Ads, and display networks, including audience targeting, creative rotation, and bid or budget adjustments.
  • Conversion testing: Run A/B tests on headlines, ad copy, calls to action, and visuals, then apply the findings to improve click-through and conversion rates.
  • On-page SEO: Carry out keyword research and make practical page-level changes—titles, descriptions, internal links, and content structure—to support organic rankings.
  • Budget stewardship: Track daily ad spend, watch reach and cost metrics, and flag or correct potential overspend before it happens.
  • Performance analysis: Pull data from Google Analytics and native social insights to report on traffic, audience segments, lead costs, and channel growth.
  • Competitive and audience research: Compare the brand’s online activity with relevant competitors and adapt creative direction based on what audiences actually respond to.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • At least three years of hands-on digital marketing experience, including responsibility for commercial social media accounts and paid campaign delivery.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related discipline.
  • Comfort using social media management dashboards, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and basic SEO tools.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and the ability to interpret metrics such as CTR, engagement rate, cost per lead, and conversion volume.
  • Strong written English, with the ability to write persuasive promotional copy and clear calls to action.
  • Creative instincts for spotting trends, proposing visual concepts, and developing interactive audience campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset: able to look at raw numbers, identify what is working, and adjust campaigns without waiting for direction.
  • A portfolio or concrete examples of past campaign results will be advantageous.

What We Offer / Why Join

  • Monthly remuneration of KSh 40,000.
  • Full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi.
  • The opportunity to lead digital channels for an established commercial services enterprise, reporting to the Commercial Lead and shaping campaigns from concept through measurement.
  • Applicants who live in or near Nairobi and can readily reach central business locations are encouraged to apply.
