Job Description
Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi County, Kenya, for a Debt Collections & Recoveries Officer for Unsecured Salary Loans.
- The role involves managing debt recovery processes, handling client communication, negotiating repayment plans, monitoring delinquent accounts, preparing timely reports and achieving stretching business targets.
- The officer will work closely with teams to ensure effective debt resolutions while adhering to internal policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Debt Collection especially for unsecured microfinance loans and knowledge of finance-related procedures.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and debt recovery best practices in Kenya.
- Strong communications and Interpersonal Skills and commitment to providing excellent Customer Service.
- Exceptional Analytical Skills for assessing financial situations and identifying effective collection strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial software tools is beneficial.
