Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for transforming enterprise data into actionable insights by developing analytical models, supporting data-driven decision-making, and contributing to the implementation of the organization’s data strategy, governance framework, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights for business units.
- Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support business decision-making.
- Build and maintain machine learning models and analytical pipelines.
- Support implementation of the enterprise data framework including data quality and governance standards.
- Work with data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, data lakes) to process and analyse data.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.
- Translate analytical outputs into clear business insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Identify opportunities for AI/ML to improve business performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience
1–2 years’ experience in data analytics or data science.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and Power BI or similar tools.
- Experience with machine learning and statistical modelling.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Azure).
- Understanding of data governance and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
