You will be encouraged to contribute your own ideas and expertise, and to keep your skills up to date through training and learning.

You will engage with teams across a range of technical disciplines and geographies. Recognised internally as a subject matter expert, you will provide thought leadership within Data Engineering while contributing to broader initiatives that require an understanding of the wider business.

  • Support regular releases and monitor scheduled data processing batches.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to code, tools, and ways of working.

Essential Skills

  • 8+ years experience delivering data solutions, with a minimum of 5 years experience in Microsoft SQL Server development and support.
  • Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring to others
  • Advanced T-SQL skills, including development and optimization of stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Strong understanding of database design, data modelling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience developing and supporting ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Knowledge of OLTP and OLAP database environments.
  • Experience analysing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
