Job Description

A mid-sized, fast-paced law firm is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Court Clerk to support its legal operations. This role is ideal for someone with solid court process experience who is also eager to grow and adapt to modern, digitized court systems. The suitable candidate is someone reliable, proactive, and willing to learn in a demanding environment is demanding, so this suits a person who takes ownership of their work and doesn’t need constant supervision

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Filing court documents (both physical and electronic filing systems) Managing case files, deadlines, and court schedules
  • Preparing and organizing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Liaising with court registries and supporting advocates on active matters
  • Providing general legal secretarial and administrative support

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma in Law or Paralegal Studies
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a law firm Proven experience handling court processes and legal documentation
  • Experience in legal secretarial/administrative work Willingness to learn and adapt to digital court systems and processes
