Job Summary
We are seeking a highly creative, travel-passionate Content Producer to lead the visual media engine and digital brand presence of our progressive tours and travel company. Your primary focus will be to conceptualize, capture, and produce immersive photo, video, and graphic assets that vividly convey premium destinations, hospitality offerings, and diverse corporate activities. This position bridges active field production with polished post-production execution; you will steer creative projects from organizing destination travel packages and setting up remote camera shoots through to formatting short-form reels and curating structured brand asset libraries. The role demands an agile storyteller who can comfortably travel across various regions to capture commercial-grade travel experiences while maintaining high standards of brand consistency.
Core Competencies
Visual Production & Travel Documentation
- Plan, execute, and anchor professional photography and videography shoots at key travel destinations, hotels, attractions, and corporate events.
- Capture stunning b-roll, high-fidelity landscape scenery, client testimonials, and behind-the-scenes travel features.
- Navigate frequent field travel schedules inside and outside Nairobi independently to document real-time tourist experiences and site properties.
- Calibrate and operate field camera bodies, stabilizing mechanisms, basic lighting gear, and secondary audio equipment efficiently.
Digital Storytelling & Campaign Development
- Shape compelling multi-channel narrative structures that convey the Group’s identity, hospitality projects, and specialized tour operations.
- Architect high-impact short-form video concepts, transitions, trends, and graphic templates optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Formulate clear visual and text layouts for modern web interfaces, corporate marketing brochures, consumer presentations, and paid ads.
- Maintain a uniform brand voice, color theme, and stylistic layout rules across all public communication networks.
Media Curation & Creative Coordination
- Coordinate and index an extensive, highly organized digital media repository of raw footages, commercial photos, and vector assets.
- Draft operational design briefs and align with internal graphic teams or external freelance media contractors to fulfill advanced content specifications.
- Quality-audit finished creative edits against campaign briefs, filtering out visual glitches or textual errors before digital publishing schedules.
- Track modern digital marketing trends, consumer travel interests, and editing methodologies to keep brand media competitive.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum Entry Criteria
- Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Media Studies, Mass Communication, Film Production, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a complementary creative track.
- Professional Longevity: Minimum of 5 years of progressive, hands-on experience in high-impact content creation, corporate photography, commercial videography, and social media production.
- Software Toolkit: High proficiency across standard design suites, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) or equivalent editing software.
- Mobility Readiness: Absolute flexibility and enthusiasm to execute regular field travel assignments outside Nairobi to capture seasonal holiday setups and remote attractions.
