Role Overview
This role focuses on building relationships directly with consumers in their homes or local businesses, turning cold contacts into signed contracts for service installations. Day to day, you will plan your own territory routes, knock on doors, and present product benefits in a persuasive, consultative manner. Success here directly impacts company revenue growth, making your ability to convert leads and hit targets essential to the team’s quarterly goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and approach potential customers in assigned residential or commercial zones to generate new sales opportunities.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and explain contract terms clearly to drive on-the-spot decision making.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to securing signed agreements and scheduling installation appointments.
- Record daily activity, leads generated, and closed deals in the company CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of progress.
- Follow up on warm leads from marketing campaigns or referrals to maximize conversion rates.
- Collaborate with installation teams to confirm schedules and resolve any customer issues that may delay service activation.
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly sales quotas, adapting pitch and approach based on customer feedback and market trends.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in sales or any customer-facing role that required direct interaction and persuasion.
- Previous field sales experience in a business‑to‑consumer environment is highly valued, but not mandatory if you show strong street‑smart selling instincts.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to read a room and adjust your message on the fly.
- Self‑motivated and driven by measurable results, comfortable working independently with minimal daily supervision.
- Genuine comfort with a performance‑based compensation structure, where earnings reflect your closing ability.
- Must be able to walk or drive to multiple locations per day, carrying promotional materials and a mobile device for paperwork.
