Role Overview
This is a frontline commercial role where you will take ownership of incoming sales enquiries and turn them into revenue. Working within our dedicated Sales Catalyst team, you will manage the full client acquisition cycle: qualifying interest, running discovery conversations, diagnosing each prospect’s sales challenges, and guiding them toward a tailored solution. Your ability to build trust quickly and maintain disciplined follow-through will directly influence the company’s growth targets, making you a key driver of new business momentum.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound enquiries, assess fit, and prioritise prospects with genuine commercial potential.
- Lead structured discovery meetings with business owners and senior decision-makers to uncover pain points and buying intent.
- Present product or service solutions that map directly to each prospect’s sales and revenue challenges.
- Prepare clear, compelling proposals and manage follow-up communication until a decision is reached.
- Negotiate terms and close new business agreements in line with revenue targets.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline, recording every interaction and next step in the CRM.
- Provide regular forecasts and progress updates to the wider sales leadership team.
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover and set the stage for long-term client success.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, client acquisition, or business development within a consultative environment.
- Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle, from first contact to signed agreement.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with a knack for asking probing questions and tailoring solutions rather than pitching one-size-fits-all offers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the confidence to present to owners, directors, and other senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised and self-disciplined, especially when juggling multiple prospects and follow-up deadlines.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools and using data to track performance and prioritise activity.
- A results-oriented mindset with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
