Role Overview
You will act as the operational engine behind the Founder & Group CEO at INUA AI Group, turning high-level direction into concrete outcomes across every business unit. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage the rhythm of the executive office, drive cross-functional initiatives, and prepare the CEO for decisions that shape Africa’s digital economy. Your daily focus is making sure that time, attention, and follow-through are optimised so that strategic priorities do not stall.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Founder & Group CEO to translate strategic objectives into executable work plans, then track progress and remove obstacles across all Group companies.
- Run the Office of the Founder & Group CEO: set operating rhythms, manage key deliverables, and keep the executive leadership team aligned on commitments and deadlines.
- Prepare high-stakes materials for board meetings, investor discussions, government engagement, and public appearances, including briefing notes, speeches, and decision-support documents.
- Coordinate engagement with a broad ecosystem—government ministries, development partners, universities, multinationals, and strategic clients—ensuring the CEO is briefed, positioned, and prepared for every interaction.
- Oversee a portfolio of cross-company strategic projects, identifying risks, dependencies, and milestones, and facilitating collaboration between business units.
- Conduct targeted research on AI, cybersecurity, digital transformation, public policy, and market developments, synthesising findings into concise recommendations for executive decisions.
- Strengthen governance processes by managing the flow of information for executive meetings, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring follow-through on all action items.
- Draft and polish executive communications, thought-leadership pieces, and corporate messaging that reinforce the Group’s reputation across digital platforms.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, International Relations, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a distinct advantage.
- At least 7 years of experience working directly with C-suite executives, founders, or senior government leaders in a fast-moving environment.
- Background in technology, consulting, financial services, multinational operations, or high-growth companies, with a clear ability to operate across complex organisations.
- Proven ability to think strategically and make sound judgments under pressure, while maintaining the highest level of discretion and integrity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft executive-level correspondence, speeches, and board papers.
- Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities, with a track record of coordinating initiatives that require input from multiple teams and external partners.
- High emotional intelligence and professional maturity to build trust and influence without direct authority.
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, executive presentation tools, project management platforms, data analysis and reporting tools, and AI productivity platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Gemini.
- Genuine interest in innovation, artificial intelligence, and the advancement of Africa’s digital future.
