Role Overview
This position keeps complex, cross-functional initiatives moving from initial framing through delivery by aligning sponsors, subject matter experts, and delivery teams around a shared plan. The project manager guides Agile SDLC execution, maintains transparent schedules in Smartsheet, and serves as the communication bridge between working teams and senior leadership. The work matters because it reduces ambiguity, surfaces risks early, and helps the organization make timely decisions without losing momentum.
Key Responsibilities
- Run structured project-framing sessions that bring sponsors and stakeholders to agreement on intended outcomes, boundaries, major milestones, and target dates.
- Map stakeholders, then plan engagement so the right contributors are involved at the right moments and receive consistent updates.
- Coach team members on Agile and Scrum delivery habits, including iteration planning, progress checks, and continuous improvement practices within the SDLC.
- Create and maintain Smartsheet schedules with clearly defined tasks, accountable owners, deadlines, and dependencies, validating the plan with subject matter experts.
- Confirm task ownership and due dates with contributors, document commitments, and apply change control when scope, timing, or priorities shift.
- Use Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Smartsheet, and related collaboration tools to coordinate work, share artifacts, and keep project information current.
- Facilitate multi-department meetings, drive consensus, and clarify the impact of new requests, scope adjustments, or decisions that need senior-management attention.
- Maintain RAID logs, clear obstacles, escalate when needed, provide leadership with status, issue, and decision-point updates, build lightweight AI-assisted tools to support daily project management, and take on other duties as assigned.

- Project delivery: Hands-on scheduling with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or a comparable planning tool, plus experience managing projects in an Agile-Scrum SDLC environment.

- AI augmentation: Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve, automate, or accelerate day-to-day project management activities.
- Stakeholder and meeting skills: Strong organizational abilities, confident meeting facilitation, and the capacity to build consensus even when the topic falls outside your own subject-matter expertise.
- Communication range: Ability to communicate effectively with individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders, and to collaborate comfortably with executive stakeholders.
- Analytical and personal attributes: Solid business-analysis, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in a high-pressure setting; a self-starter mindset with accountability for keeping projects on track; patience, courtesy, active listening, and effective teamwork.
