Description:

Zoom is seeking a Chat Product Manager to help shape the future of Zoom Team Chat and improve how millions of users communicate and collaborate every day. This role focuses on delivering intuitive messaging experiences, increasing product adoption, and driving long-term growth through innovative communication solutions.

The successful candidate will own key areas of the messaging experience, from product strategy and roadmap planning to feature delivery and post-launch improvements. This position requires strong product judgment, UI/UX understanding, experience with AI-powered features, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, design, research, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive product strategy and execution for key areas of Zoom Team Chat experience

• Define and manage product roadmaps by identifying user needs, experience gaps, and market opportunities

• Partner with Design teams to improve interaction patterns, information structure, and overall user experience

• Identify opportunities to integrate AI-powered capabilities into messaging workflows

• Translate customer feedback, support insights, and research findings into product requirements

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Research teams to plan, develop, and launch features

• Communicate product roadmap, priorities, tradeoffs, and progress with internal stakeholders

• Support consistent user experiences across desktop, mobile, and web platforms

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of products or major product areas

• Proven experience launching AI-powered product features

• Strong understanding of product strategy, user experience, and interface design principles

• Experience working on messaging, collaboration, or communication products

• Ability to use competitor research and user insights to improve product experiences

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with technical and executive audiences

• Comfortable working with globally distributed teams and flexible schedules

• Experience using product management tools for roadmaps, specifications, and prioritization

• Strong knowledge of:

• Product management lifecycle and roadmap development

• UI/UX design principles and customer-focused product improvements

• AI-powered product features and digital collaboration platforms
