Description:

Ahmad Alagbari Chartered Accountants is hiring on behalf of one of its valued clients for a skilled Chartered Accountant to join their finance team in Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified CA with strong technical accounting knowledge and experience working in an audit or accounting environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and supporting financial and tax-related activities. Applicants who are currently based in Abu Dhabi or are available to attend an in-person interview will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations and other applicable laws.

• Support financial reporting and maintain high standards of accounting accuracy.

• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.

• Assist with regulatory compliance and financial documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting and reporting processes.

• Maintain professional standards while handling financial and accounting responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

• 2–3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a reputable audit or accounting firm.

• Strong experience in preparing financial statements.

• Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Good understanding of UAE Corporate Tax and other relevant UAE laws and regulations.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • Financial statement preparation and financial reporting

    • IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax, and regulatory compliance

    • Accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards
