Description
Duro EMEA is seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with strong expertise in UAE accounting practices, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance who are looking to grow their careers in a professional corporate environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting processes, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with audit activities. The role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Prepare financial analyses to support business decision-making.
• Maintain accounting documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams on finance-related matters.
• Perform other accounting and financial duties as required.
Requirements
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, reconciliations, and audits.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of:
