Job Title: Telesales Representative (Microfinance)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Telesales Representative to join our dynamic team in the microfinance sector. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by reaching out to potential clients, presenting our financial products, and building lasting customer relationships. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound telesales calls to prospective clients to promote microfinance products and services.
  • Explain product features, benefits, and terms clearly to ensure customer understanding.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions using the CRM system.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly to maximize conversion rates.
  • Build rapport with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the team to share best practices and improve sales techniques.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a telesales role, preferably in microfinance or a related financial services sector.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, email, and internet navigation. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Communication: Excellent command of English – both oral and written – to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills essential for telesales success.
  • Organizational: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain accurate records.
  • Interpersonal: Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude.
