The Objective
The Business & Portfolio Development Manager is a high-impact leadership role centered on the strategic expansion of our residential footprint. Your primary mission is twofold: aggressively growing our inventory by onboarding high-quality units from landlords and ensuring these units remain occupied through robust tenant acquisition strategies. You will act as a key liaison between property owners and corporate clients, leveraging your network to establish the company as a preferred provider for international organizations and relocation agencies. This position demands a commercial mindset capable of identifying market gaps and converting them into profitable, long-term partnerships.
Operational Workstreams
Landlord Acquisition & Asset Growth

Identify and evaluate residential properties that align with the company’s elite rental standards.

Pitch the company’s unique value proposition to landlords and property agents to secure exclusive management or lease agreements.

Lead negotiations for lease terms, ensuring they meet commercial viability and operational standards.

Conduct thorough assessments of new units to determine their suitability for the existing portfolio.
Tenant Acquisition & Corporate Relations

Build and nurture a pipeline of high-net-worth and corporate tenant leads.

Establish strategic partnerships with global mobility teams, multinational corporations, and relocation companies.

Manage the end-to-end leasing process, from conducting professional viewings to finalizing signed agreements.

Position the portfolio as the top-tier choice for expatriates and international staff relocating to Nairobi.
Market Intelligence & Sales Governance

Monitor real estate market trends and competitor movements to maintain a competitive edge.

Track critical performance metrics, including occupancy rates, conversion speeds, and portfolio growth.

Provide data-driven insights and regular updates to senior management regarding sales forecasts and market opportunities.
