Role Overview
You will be the frontline representative for the organisation across a defined set of counties, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, corporate clients, and insurance partners. Your day-to-day work involves presenting healthcare schemes, explaining coverage terms, and resolving client concerns so that businesses and individuals can confidently use their health benefits. This role is central to the organisation’s growth because it transforms health plan products into real, accessible services for communities and employers in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and visit hospitals, clinics, corporate offices, and trade organisations to present health schemes and secure new business partnerships.
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts by serving as the main contact for onboarding, renewals, and day-to-day service questions.
- Explain insurance benefits and claims procedures clearly to employers, HR teams, and individual beneficiaries, ensuring they fully understand their coverage.
- Work with internal underwriting and claims teams to resolve disputes, process client requests, and escalate issues that need urgent attention.
- Maintain accurate records of client visits, quotations, and sales activities in the organisation’s CRM or reporting tools.
- Monitor local competitor activity and emerging healthcare needs within assigned counties, then share insights that inform product or marketing improvements.
- Coordinate and attend workplace health awareness sessions, exhibitions, and client appreciation activities as needed.
- Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets while adhering to the company’s quality and compliance standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A diploma in Marketing, Business, or a closely related field.
- At least three years of practical experience in sales, marketing, or business development, ideally gained within the healthcare sector.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of insurance concepts, corporate health schemes, and how medical claims are processed.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned counties, sometimes spending several days away from the home base.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and local languages, with the ability to persuade and negotiate at different organisational levels.
- Self-motivation and discipline to plan routes, manage your own schedule, and follow up consistently without close supervision.
- Excellent presentation skills for pitching to potential corporate clients and explaining complex benefits in simple terms.
