Role Overview
Design interiors for residential and commercial projects, translating client needs into practical layouts, visual concepts, and production-ready drawings. The role also connects design decisions with wooden joinery production and site installation, helping teams deliver work that meets project specifications and agreed schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop interior concepts and space plans for residential, villa, and commercial projects.
- Produce 2D layouts, 3D visualisations, and detailed technical drawings using relevant design software.
- Visit project sites to take measurements and adapt drawings to actual conditions.
- Recommend materials, finishes, colours, and furniture suited to the design and project requirements.
- Prepare material specifications and supporting design documentation.
- Discuss design requirements with clients and coordinate decisions with suppliers, production staff, and site teams.
- Work with joinery production and installation teams to resolve design details during execution.
- Check that design deliverables meet quality expectations and project timelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least four years of interior design experience in the UAE.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Working proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or comparable design tools, including 2D drafting and 3D visualisation.
- Knowledge of space planning, interior materials, finishes, furniture, and joinery requirements.
- Experience with residential and villa interiors is preferred; commercial project experience is also relevant.
- Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and the ability to manage work independently.
- Clear communication and effective coordination with clients and project teams.
