Role Overview
Qhwetu Capital Limited is looking for a business development executive to drive residential property sales across Nairobi's most sought-after locations, including Kileleshwa, Lavington, Westlands, Riverside, Upper Hill, Kilimani, Kiambu, Machakos, and the Mombasa Road corridor. Your day-to-day focus will be split between proactive lead generation and disciplined deal management: sourcing buyers, hosting property viewings, negotiating payment plans, and guiding clients from first contact through contract signing. Working under the Sales Manager and Head of Business Development, you will directly influence company revenue by converting prospects into confirmed investors while expanding a network of high-net-worth buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential buyers, property investors, and corporate clients through cold outreach, referrals, networking events, and digital channels.
- Conduct immersive site visits and property walkthroughs, showcasing unit features, neighbourhood amenities, accessibility, and realistic investment returns.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations that clearly explain pricing structures, purchase terms, title processes, and payment flexibility for each development.
- Negotiate offer amounts, instalment schedules, and closing conditions while staying within company pricing guidelines and approval limits.
- Maintain an organised buyer database that captures every inquiry, follow-up, viewing, offer, and contract milestone from initial contact to final handover.
- Persistently follow up with all leads to reduce pipeline drop-off and increase conversion from interest to signed purchase agreement.
- Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales volume targets, and submit accurate activity reports covering site visit counts and deal statuses.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and upcoming developments in Nairobi and surrounding satellite towns to keep offerings competitively positioned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Land Economics, or a related commercial discipline.
- One to two years of active sales experience, ideally in real estate, property investment, or other high-value transaction environments.
- A proven record of meeting or exceeding performance quotas and successfully closing sales deals.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the natural ability to persuade, handle objections, and build trust quickly.
- Full-time availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, based in Nairobi, with flexibility for scheduled weekend site viewings.
- Strong interest in understanding local property dynamics, land title transfer frameworks, and spatial development trends.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a performance-based compensation environment.
What We Offer / Why Join
- Uncapped earning potential through a competitive retainer paired with high-value commission structures and performance incentives.
- Hands-on sales training and property domain coaching to strengthen your negotiation, product knowledge, and client management skills.
- A young, energetic, and growth-oriented team culture operating across Nairobi's most dynamic residential markets.
- Clear career progression pathways toward Senior Sales Consultant, Team Lead, and Regional Sales Manager roles for proven performers.
