Job Title: Medical Insurance Relationship Manager
Job Purpose
To grow the medical insurance portfolio by expanding and strengthening relationships with the existing intermediary network while recruiting new intermediaries through strategic relationship management, with the aim of increasing premium production and market penetration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing intermediaries to maximize retention and production.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new intermediaries to expand the distribution network.
- Implement strategic relationship management initiatives to drive sales growth and market share.
- Monitor and report on premium production, intermediary performance, and market trends.
Qualifications
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course (Insurance Option, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance) or equivalent from a recognized university.
Professional Qualifications
- Professional qualification – AIIK, ACII.
Experience
- Five (5) years of insurance experience, with at least two (2) years in medical sales.
Knowledge and Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry, particularly medical insurance products and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to build and sustain intermediary relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
