Description:
A leading organization in the UAE is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AR & Tax Controller to join its Finance team within the Pharma & FMCG division. This role is essential in managing accounts receivable functions, ensuring tax compliance, and strengthening financial controls across the group.
The selected candidate will play a key role in improving cash flow efficiency, managing credit risk, and ensuring full compliance with VAT and corporate tax regulations while supporting ongoing financial transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes and oversee the complete revenue cycle
• Monitor customer ageing reports, control credit exposure, and improve collections efficiency
• Ensure VAT compliance, accurate filings, and readiness for internal and external audits
• Support corporate tax processes and coordinate with external tax consultants and advisors
• Strengthen internal financial controls and manage intercompany reconciliations
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and IT teams to improve processes and support automation initiatives
Key Focus Areas:
• Optimize cash flow and enhance collections discipline
• Manage credit risk and exposure effectively
• Ensure VAT compliance and support audit processes
• Improve operational efficiency through ERP enhancements and process improvements
Requirements:
• Must be CA, ACCA, or CPA qualified
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, credit control, and taxation
• Strong hands-on experience with UAE VAT compliance is mandatory
• Prior experience in Pharma or FMCG trading and distribution is highly preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems (especially JDE) along with advanced Excel skills
