A well-established Dubai-based organization operating in the bullion and precious metals sector is currently hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This role is suited for professionals with strong expertise in accounting functions within trading or commodities environments.
The selected candidate will handle core accounting responsibilities, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance, and reporting while supporting daily bullion trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations related to bullion trading transactions
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and financial documentation
• Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper financial controls are maintained
• Support audit processes and provide required financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and UAE tax requirements
• Track inventory and support financial reporting related to stock movements
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting processes
• Good understanding of VAT compliance, taxation, and audit procedures
• Hands-on experience in bookkeeping and general ledger management
• Prior exposure to trading or commodities industry is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA will be an advantage
• Familiarity with UAE financial regulations is preferred
