Accountant

A leading Fresh Produce Processing Company in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Accountant to support its finance operations. This role is ideal for accounting professionals who possess strong financial management skills and experience within the food manufacturing, fresh produce, or FMCG sectors.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing receivables and payables, preparing reconciliations, and supporting day-to-day accounting functions. The position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare customer invoices and process supplier payments.

• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities.

• Follow up on outstanding customer balances and maintain customer account statements.

• Process supplier invoices and ensure payments are made on schedule.

• Assist with accounting, reporting, and administrative tasks assigned by management.

• Support financial record maintenance and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in Food Manufacturing, Fresh Produce, or FMCG industries.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tally.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

    • UAE VAT regulations, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting

    • Microsoft Excel, Tally, and accounting principles
