About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance, providing insights to support business decisions.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, calculate depreciation, and oversee capital expenditure tracking.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, statutory requirements, and support external and internal audits.
• Review accounting records, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain financial accuracy.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff while coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience in Dubai.
• CPA qualification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation

Salary: AED 5,000-6,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
