Description:
Studio Eileen, a creative design studio based in Dubai, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for a mid-level finance professional who can manage financial operations efficiently while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial planning, and assisting in audit processes within a dynamic and creative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Prepare financial reports in compliance with IFRS standards
• Handle UAE VAT filings and ensure adherence to taxation regulations
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning
• Support audit preparation by organizing financial documents and ensuring compliance
• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho Books for financial management
• Perform advanced data analysis using Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is required
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT, and taxation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with leading accounting software systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and time management abilities
