Description:
A well-established drinking water company based in Umm Al Quwain is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and practical experience in handling day-to-day financial operations. This role requires someone who can maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support overall financial reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries
• Assist in VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper financial documentation
• Support internal finance processes and reporting requirements
Requirements:
• Male candidate preferred
• Must currently be based in the UAE
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Tally ERP (mandatory)
• Good understanding of UAE VAT laws and regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting tools
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently
