MajeStay Tourism is a growing company in the travel and hospitality sector, offering unique tourism experiences and high-quality services to clients worldwide. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team and support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee tax filings, VAT returns, and compliance with government regulations.
- Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to support business decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations for cost optimization.
- Lead and mentor junior accountants in the finance team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
- Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial regulations.
- Experience in the tourism, hospitality, or service industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally and CRM Software).
- Strong knowledge in Ninthware System.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
