Accountant

Belvedere International School is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a school or educational setting and possess a strong understanding of financial operations specific to the education sector.

This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the school’s budgeting and reporting processes. The candidate should be highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling financial responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Handle financial transactions in line with school requirements
• Ensure compliance with MOHRE financial regulations and guidelines
• Monitor and manage school-related financial systems
• Collaborate with management on financial planning and reporting

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in a school or educational environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Experience working with school financial systems
• Good understanding of MOHRE financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required
