Description:
Meten Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join its Finance Department in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with a strong background in logistics, freight forwarding, or the shipping industry who are looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and fast-paced organization.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, tax compliance, and process improvements. The ideal applicant should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support the company’s financial objectives through efficient financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable activities, collections, and customer follow-ups.
• Handle accounts payable processes and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations with accuracy.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for management.
• Support VAT, Corporate Tax compliance, and external audit activities.
• Strengthen financial controls and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
• 4–6 years of relevant finance experience.
• Previous experience in the Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Shipping industry is required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), reconciliations, and collections.
• Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Cash flow management, financial reporting, VAT, Corporate Tax, and audit support.
