Description:
A leading catering and food service organization under an Abu Dhabi government entity is currently seeking a qualified General Accountant to join its finance team. This is a direct hire opportunity for professionals with strong accounting experience within the F&B or hospitality sector.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring accurate record-keeping in line with organizational and industry standards. This role offers stability and benefits within a structured government-linked work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Maintain and update general ledger entries accurately
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial data collection
• Maintain proper documentation and financial records
Requirements:
• Proven experience in F&B, catering, or hospitality industry accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and structured environment
• Immediate joiners will be preferred
• Strong knowledge of:
• General ledger management
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Accounts reconciliation procedures
• Accounting software and MS Excel tools
