Description:

AF – Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Customer Service Representative I to join its policy services team in Lansing, Michigan. This role focuses on providing administrative support, accurate data entry, and policy issuance assistance within a structured insurance operations environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing policy documentation, ensuring accuracy across all transactions, and supporting internal teams in maintaining efficient workflow. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Type policies and endorsements using Policy Issuance and Microsoft Word systems

• Enter daily policy and endorsement data into Century’s Information Management System (CIMS)

• Ensure accuracy across all stages of policy issuance and processing

• Manage policy transactions in line with standard operating procedures

• Conduct basic classification, sorting, and organization of documents

• Perform limited research when required

• Participate in training programs and complete required certifications

• Maintain high performance standards including quality and productivity metrics

• Collaborate effectively with team members and departments

• Provide professional customer service support when needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Prior experience in data entry or administrative roles preferred

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)

• Ability to learn and adapt to multiple internal systems

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a structured, team-oriented environment

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet performance targets

• Strong knowledge of:
