Automation Manager
We are seeking an experienced Automation Manager to lead our automation strategy and delivery. This role will drive process optimization through RPA, workflows, and system integrations, while managing a high-performing team to achieve measurable business impact.
Job Summary
As Automation Manager, you will own the automation roadmap from discovery to deployment. You will work closely with business units, mentor a team of developers, and ensure all solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute the automation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify automation opportunities across departments (RPA, workflows, system integrations)
- Prioritize automation initiatives based on ROI, risk, and impact
Solution Design & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end automation lifecycle (discovery → design → development → testing → deployment)
- Oversee development of automation solutions using tools such as RPA platforms and APIs
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with IT standards
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor automation team including developers and interns
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of projects
- Build team capability through training and continuous learning
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business units to understand process requirements
- Provide regular updates on automation performance and project progress
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor automation performance (uptime, error rates, ROI)
- Continuously improve existing automations for efficiency and reliability
- Establish automation governance and best practices
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure automation solutions comply with data security and regulatory requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with automation deployments
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in IT automation, RPA, or systems engineering
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
- Experience with tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or similar
