Electrical Technician
Job Overview
The Electrical Technician will ensure minimal downtime by performing preventive maintenance on all equipment, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) on defective machines, and contributing to achieving the set Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance as per the planned schedule.
- Prepare and maintain shift maintenance and breakdown reports.
- Troubleshoot, locate root causes, and repair electrical motors and plant equipment to meet OEE targets.
- Monitor HT/LV panels and generators, ensuring proper changeover during power failures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all related electrical equipment.
- Manage and audit spare stock levels.
- Generate maintenance tasks and liaise with engineers for execution and resolution.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 100% adherence to machine preventive maintenance schedule; reports submitted on the same day.
- Reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) by 5%.
- Ensure 100% compliance with LOTO and basic safety rules.
- Improve tools management by 5% in lifecycle performance.
- Maintain 5S/5K standards in the technician office and workshop at all times.

Qualifications & Experience
- Craft Certificate, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical machinery and electronic maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Certificate of good conduct.
- Basic computer literacy.
