Key Responsibilities
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and high-quality output.
- Maintain and uphold strict quality standards for all dishes.
- Support kitchen operations including stock control, inventory management, and workflow coordination.
- Plan and design menus, incorporating both local and international cuisines.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to deliver efficient service.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and work under pressure during peak hours.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, catering, or similar hospitality setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, and presentation techniques.
- Cuisine Capability: Ability to prepare both local and international cuisines.
- Standards: Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles.
- Inventory Management: Experience with stock control and inventory processes.
- Work Ethic: Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
