Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
- The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and operational partner to hospital leadership and departments, ensuring that human resource practices support organizational goals and workforce effectiveness. The role is responsible for workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, staff engagement, learning and development, HR compliance, and people analytics. The HRBP works closely with departmental leaders to enhance employee productivity, strengthen workplace culture, ensure compliance with labour laws and HR policies, and drive initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and organizational performance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) qualification or ongoing CHRP certification is highly desirable.
- Mandatory membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resource experience, preferably within a healthcare.
- Experience in strategic workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Strong understanding of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.
- Experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and documentation skills.
- Ability to analyze HR data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
- Strong organizational, planning, and employee engagement skills.
