Description:
Emsquare Engineering Consultants is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Engineer to join its civil construction team in Dubai. This role is focused on active construction project sites, ensuring that all health, safety, and environmental standards are consistently maintained throughout project execution.
The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, minimizing workplace risks, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and international HSE standards. Candidates with a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to workplace safety are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies across construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and internationally recognized HSE standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Prepare, maintain, and update HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform risk assessments and monitor workplace hazards to prevent accidents.
• Work closely with site teams to achieve a safe, incident-free working environment.
• Promote continuous improvement in safety awareness and site safety performance.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience within the UAE civil construction sector.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong understanding of UAE safety regulations and international HSE practices.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a proactive approach to safety management.
• Immediate availability or ability to join on short notice is highly preferred.
