Description:
A leading organization is currently seeking an experienced and DEWA-approved Site Engineer to join its engineering and project delivery team in Dubai South. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure and high-voltage substation projects within the UAE construction sector.
The selected candidate will play a key role in overseeing site activities, ensuring project execution aligns with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Candidates with strong UAE contracting experience and the ability to join within a short notice period are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations and construction activities
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Ensure all site activities meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities
• Review technical documentation and provide engineering support when required
• Monitor workforce productivity and project milestones
• Assist in resolving technical and operational issues on-site
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation
• Ensure timely completion of assigned project deliverables
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience with reputed Main Contractors in the UAE
• Proven experience working on High Voltage Substation Projects
• Valid DEWA Approval is mandatory
• Ability to join within one month notice period
• Willingness to work in Dubai South
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage site activities effectively and work under project deadlines
Strong knowledge of:
• High Voltage Substation construction and infrastructure projects
• UAE construction standards, regulations, and site management practices
• Project coordination, quality control, and health & safety requirements
